Success for three U16s

Paddy Hagger Finn Bradley and Dom Bradley (not related) have all played for Tunbridge Wells and Kent for a number of years with all three getting into Saracens u15’s academy last year.

Now after a gruelling selection process including training 2 days per week at Saracens training ground in St Albans throughout the school holidays and Matches against Harlequins and Bath Academies all three have been selected again for the Saracens’ U16 academy.

This is an amazing achievement! Places in the Saracen’s academy are exceptionally competitive.  Of the 3000 players at U15 across Hertfordshire Essex and Kent, only the top 100 U15 players were selected to trial for Sarries’ for just 35 places. At U16 this was reduced further-still to 25 places.

It’s a great success for the three lads – and reflects on the amazing coaches are and the quality of the children coming through the ranks at Tunbridge Wells.  Hopefully we can look forward to some home grown talent for the first team in years to come… (the boys themselves are probably hoping to play for Saracen’s and who can blame them)
